Western- and Lodge-style furniture Poised For A Comeback

Western- and Lodge-style home furnishings are poised for a comeback, but this time around, the look is anything but rustic and oversized. Instead, think clean-lined casegoods, hand-rubbed finishes, supple leathers and a touch of nailhead trim that all add up to casual elegance for several rooms in (and outside) the home.

Henderson spool bed, one of the latest additions to Wrangler Home™ brand’s Coming Home Collection, is an updated interpretation of a mid-19th Century American classic. The queen size bed, shown in a Tobaccoville Dark finish, measures 60 inches high and 65 inches wide. The group is made by Flexsteel.

Montana outdoorsman, artist and outdoor lifestyle personality Dick Idol teamed with Klaussner Home Furnishings to launch the Highland Country Collection in High Point last fall. The collection comprises bedroom and dining room casegoods sporting a warm, medium cherry finish with slight distressing. Dining pieces (above) include a rectangular, expandable dining table; leather-covered arm and side chairs; and a buffet and hutch.

Woolrich® partnered with furniture manufacturer Whitecraft, last year, to introduce its first outdoor furniture collection–Chatham Run. The group comprises 16 dining, entertaining, upholstery and occasional pieces. Designed specifically for year-round, all-weather outdoor use, the items incorporate materials such as faux wood and handwoven, UV- and weather-resistant VIRO® synthetic fiber over aluminum. Shown (left) are the lounge chair and ottoman in Moose Walk, a 100 percent polyester fabric with a moose motif, and an end table with a faux wood top.
